This year we are participating in The Great Michigan Read which is presented by the Michigan Humanities Council, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Copies of The Nick Adams Stories are available at local public libraries and area bookstores. Read Along the Lakeshore programming will take place between January 6 and March 31, 2008.

The lakeshore area public libraries announce Read Along the Lakeshore 2008, which features The Nick Adams Stories.
This program encourages all members of the community to read the same book at the same time, and then, talk about it with others to create a kind of area-wide book club.
